Looking for Addi Kingsize Knitting Machine patterns? You’re in the right place! On this page, you’ll find all of my patterns and project tutorials for the Addi King Knitting Machine.
I have video tutorials for all of the techniques shown in these patterns and projects. You can find my Addi Knitting Machine Techniques and Tips here.
If you have a different brand of circular knitting machine, you can still use these patterns and tutorials to make similar projects on whatever brand of machine you have. Just keep in mind that some other circular knitting machines have different numbers of needles and different tension guides for the yarn.
These are just a few of the types of projects you can make with an Addi Express Knitting Machine. I hope these tutorials can give you some ideas for your own machine-knit creations!
Knit a Cowl Neck Sweater Vest on your Addi Express Knitting Machine! This garment is custom fit, made from just a few flat panels.
This garment is made from flat panels, knit on the Addi Express Knitting Machine.
I joined my panels with a lace join, but you can also seam them with mattress stitch. Finish it with a knitted or crocheted edging, or simply bind off the live stitches with a crochet hook. You can make this sweater vest from whatever weight of yarn you like.
I crocheted my edging from a pattern in my favorite stitch dictionary.

The Popsicle Tote Bag is quick and easy to make, made from four simple rectangles! This extra-large, double-thick bag is great for the beach or for carrying a large knitting or crochet project.
I used Red Heart Super Saver in four different colors to make flat tubes, then used a trim color yarn to crochet edgings around each, assemble the bag, and crochet the handles. My finished bag measures 18″ wide by 18″ high.

Learn to make a Cinched Bag on your Addi Express Knitting Machine! I did mine on the Addi King to make a bag approx. 7″ wide by 10″ tall. This could also be done on the Addi Pro to make a very small drawstring pouch. These make great gift bags, as the recipient can keep and reuse the bag instead of throwing away a disposable gift bag.
Learn to make a Tablet Sleeve on your Addi Kingsize Knitting Machine. These will fit what is commonly called a 7 inch tablet, as well as many e-readers.
Use your Addi King Knitting Machine to knit a Reversible Hat in 30 minutes or less! These quick and easy hats make great gifts. I like to use a self-striping or multicolored yarn on one side with a matching solid-colored yarn on the other side.
Use your Addi King Knitting Machine to knit a Basic Hat! These are quick and easy to make, and they make great gifts!
This hat begins with a Long Tail Cast On and features a bit of Ribbing around the edge for a good fit.
Here is my Size Chart for knitting Basic Hats on the Addi King Knitting Machine:
Knit an Earwarmer Headband on your Addi King Knitting Machine! These are usually made on the smaller Addi Pro machine, but knitting them on the Addi King produces a much stretchier finished product.
Knit a Panda Earwarmer on your Addi Express Pro and Addi Express King Knitting Machine! This is super cute, and only takes a bit of assembly to create.
Learn to make a Flat Scarf on your Addi Express Knitting Machine! These scarves make great gifts, and they are very quick and easy to make. You can use worsted, dk, sport, or bulky weight yarn and make them any length you like. I like to use ombre or self striping yarn for added visual interest without any extra work. 🙂
Learn how to make a Super Scarf on your Addi King Knitting Machine. You can also use the same techniques in this video on an Addi Pro Knitting Machine.
Learn to make an Infinity Scarf on your Addi King Knitting Machine! I have made many of these scarves on my Addi. These scarves make great gifts, and they are very quick and easy to make. I have made scarves on my Addi from worsted, sport, and bulky weight yarns. You can make them any length you like. I like to use ombre or self striping yarn for added visual interest without any extra work.
Learn how to make your own Windmill Afghan on your Addi Express Knitting Machine. This video will show you how to assemble flat panels into this afghan. This afghan was made on the Addi Pro Knitting Machine, but you can use the Addi King if you like for a much larger blanket.
This little basket gets its woven-look texture from a unique tucking technique, which makes the basket sturdy enough to stand up on its own.
For this project, I used 1 skein of Red Heart Super Saver in Grey Heather with my Addi Express Kingsize Knitting Machine. My basket measures 5 1/2″ high and 7″ in diameter, but you could knit a longer tucked portion for a taller basket. The same technique can also be done on the Addi Express Professional Knitting Machine for a small basket.
