Crochet Hooks

Of course, a crocheter’s most useful tool is a crochet hook.  These hooks are all ergonomic, which is ideal for hand and wrist comfort.

Scroll down this page for the most gorgeous HANDMADE Crochet Hooks I have seen!

First up, “storebought” hooks.  This colorful crochet hook set is perfect for a beginner crocheter.  It includes 9 crochet hooks with ergonomic rubber handles, metal yarn needles, locking stitch markers, and a handy little case, all for just $10!

These are my favorite rubber-handled crochet hooks.  I have used these for years, and they are quite comfortable.  (See my review of these hooks here.)

My favorite type of hook handles are the extra-thick ones, like this Furls Streamline hook.  I have had this one for awhile, and really love the look, feel, and shape of this hook.  (See my review of this hook here.)

The Furls Odyssey hook is the best I currently own.  I have the Purple / Nickel Plated hook, but this photo also shows the Pink / Gold Plated hook.  (See my review of the Odyssey hook here.)

The Furls Candy Shop hooks are the most beautiful.  They come in many colors, and are hand-crafted from start to finish.  Shown below in lemon yellow.

Handmade Crochet Hooks

These are some of the prettiest, most detailed hooks I have seen.  All of these items are beautifully handcrafted, and each purchase will help support a small business.  Many of these shops do custom orders, and can put anything you want on a crochet hook, from animals, to characters, to flowers, to you name it!

These wooden crochet hooks are handmade in Russia from natural Siberian woods.  I especially love the ones with the super thick ergonomic handles!  These hooks are very reasonably priced, and the shop has many of them on sale for 15% off!  This one is made from Siberian Cedar by ArtOfSiberia on Etsy.

I love the super-chunky handle and glossy finish on this hook, made from Siberian Cherry Wood, also by ArtOfSiberia on Etsy.

The natural, light color on this hook is beautiful!  It is made from Siberian Birch wood, also by ArtOfSiberia on Etsy.

All of these hooks are made hand-sculpted with polymer clay.  I love this “But first, Coffee” hook by mytatteredwhimsies on Etsy!

Her sunflower hook is so bright and cheery! (Also by mytatteredwhimsies on Etsy)

I love the little potted plants on the end of this succulents hook!  (Also by mytatteredwhimsies on Etsy)

This snowman crochet hook by RainyEvergreen on Etsy is so cute!

This pencil themed hook would be perfect for a teacher!  (Made by HeartSprinkle on Etsy)

I love this ice cream cone crochet hook by MorningGlimmerShop on Etsy!

I can’t believe how detailed these hooks are!  Believe it or not, they are NOT painted.  These are covered in super-intricate polymer clay designs!  (Made by PolymerClayCreations on Etsy)

This one isn’t painted either, but is covered in tiny polymer clay foxes!  (Made by polymerclayshed on Etsy)

This hook can be personalized with the recipient’s name!  (Made by RadArtaDesign on Etsy)

The teddy bear on the end of this hook is too cute!  (Also made by RadArtaDesign on Etsy)

I hope you found a beautiful, ergonomic hook to make your crochet even more fun!  Happy Yarning! 🙂
