Beautiful Crochet Afghan Block – Free Pattern

I found this amazing afghan block pattern and envisioned several possible projects that could be made from this pattern. I love the use of color, shape, and texture in this unique motif. This pattern uses fingering yarn, but you could use worsted weight for a bigger motif for a blanket or pillow. Hancock Fabric Haul – Bernat Yarns – September 2014

Did you know that Hancock Fabrics carries yarn?  In fact, the Hancock Fabrics website offers some amazing deals on yarn.   After I placed an online order, my package arrived quickly. I am very happy with the quality of the Bernat yarn.  The Super Value yarn has a nice uniformity of thickness in the different colors.  The Satin is very soft and doesn’t split while you use it.  I plan to use these yarns to make afghans for the chilly fall and winter months.
