I found this amazing afghan block pattern and envisioned several possible projects that could be made from this pattern. I love the use of color, shape, and texture in this unique motif.

This pattern uses fingering yarn, but you could use worsted weight for a bigger motif for a blanket or pillow.

Worked in worsted weight cotton yarn, this would also be a beautiful trivet for your kitchen. Afghan flower block__small2
