    When I designed my Double Chevron Lace Scarf Pattern, I needed a warm, machine washable, fingering weight yarn with good stitch definition to highlight the lace pattern. I wanted the stitch pattern to shine. I didn’t want to use a multicolored yarn that would distract from the stitch pattern, but I didn’t exactly want a solid colored yarn, either.
